Sincerely Wrong

I once read that “Sincerity is not the test of truth.” History is full of examples of people who sincerely believed something that turned out not to be true.

I also read that “Our opinions become fixed at the point where we stop thinking.” Never stop thinking–never stop challenging your own assumptions and biases. Continually challenging your own views is a good way to avoid the pitfall of sincerely believing something that is not correct.
